At House of Two Waters, creativity is how we heal, connect, and tell our stories to the world. Our girls don’t just make art—they make impact. Through visual arts, dance, spoken word, film, TV shows, music, social media projects, and live events, we turn their voices and visions into something powerful and public. From writing scripts and acting in short films to helping produce podcasts, documentaries, and online shows, each student learns how to bring ideas to life while gaining real creative and technical skills. These projects are fun, but they’re also deeply healing—they give our girls the chance to transform pain into purpose, and creativity into confidence. Everything we produce under House of Two Waters reflects one truth: when young people are given a voice, the world listens.

EMPOWERMENT EDUCATION
Empowerment begins with understanding who you are and why you matter. Through our Ascension Academy Curriculum, girls learn emotional intelligence, spiritual awareness, and real-life skills that help them grow from the inside out. Each level of the curriculum follows a journey through the chakras—starting at the Root, where we explore safety, needs, and identity, and rising all the way to the Crown, where we discover purpose and connection to something greater. Along the way, students study the Bible and other sacred texts, journal, set goals, and engage in creative rituals that make learning personal and powerful. We talk about emotions, relationships, choices, and confidence in ways that are honest and relatable. Empowerment education here isn’t about grades—it’s about growth. It’s where girls learn to stand tall in who they are, think for themselves, and lead with wisdom and grace.

HEALING
Healing is where transformation begins—and no one heals alone. That’s why House of Two Waters partners with The Ash Tree, a therapeutic and educational practice that provides counseling, expressive arts, and wellness programs for youth and families. Through this partnership, our girls receive access to licensed mental health support, group therapy, and creative healing activities that help them process trauma in safe, empowering ways. From art and mindfulness sessions to body awareness and storytelling, The Ash Tree helps each girl reconnect with herself and rebuild from the inside out. Together, we create a circle of care that bridges therapy and community—where healing is not just recovery, but rediscovery.
WHY IT MATTERS
Many of our girls have lived through things no child should ever face—abuse, rejection, or being labeled as a problem. We help them see that what happened to them does not define who they are.
When the world stops listening, creativity becomes their voice. Through art, music, and storytelling, they learn to speak their truth—and realize it deserves to be heard.
Every girl deserves safety, love, and a chance to grow. We give them the space, tools, and guidance to heal, discover their purpose, and rise as leaders in their communities.

The Luminaries
We call the girls “The Luminaries” because their creativity is a living light—born not only from pain but from possibility—illuminating both the darkness and the beauty of the world they are here to transform.
